Has the Tiny House Craze Hit Columbus, OH

Acording to Wikipedia the small house movement is based in moving towards more simple lifestyle in much smaller homes.  They go on to say that 'tiny homes' typically are under 500 square feet while the average home is nearly 2700 sqaure feet.  The movement has been popular with environmentally minded people using fewer materials and having a smaller footprint that typical houses.  Often times they are built on a foundation of a travel trailer.  They usually have a loft type sleeping area and kitchen and bath areas sometimes border on camping facilities.  Owners of such homes often embrace a simplified life midset and limit material possesions.   I looked into some smaller (tinyier) houses in Columbus to see how they stack up to the movement.

Today we take a look at kitchen layouts and the options to consider when selecting a floor plan for your home.  For most people, ideas for the kitchen in your new home include`cabinents,coutertops, and appliances.  There are some things to consider in the floor plan.

The first thing the floor plan will influence in the kitchen is the layout of the kitchen.  There are several different basic kitchen layouts. I'll touch briefly on a few of them here.
